Thompsons knows from its experience of cases in the UK the inherent dangers of mining. Using some of the income generated by the UK Coal Scheme cases we have sought to help coalminers in other countries avoid the devastating injuries that mining can bring. In China we are supporting a joint TUC and International Miners Association initiative aimed at improving Health and Training standards.
