Compensation awarded for victim of supermarket slip injury

A shopper has been awarded a compensation package after being injured slipping over a puddle of liquid on the floor at a Morrisons supermarket.

While walking to the meat counter, she suddenly slipped on a puddle on the floor, falling on her right side. As she fell, her head hit the stock shelves, causing injuries to her head as well as right knee and hip.

After contacting our specialist personal injury solicitors, she was awarded a settlement for her injuries. Her legal team found the store liable for her injures, having not placed any warning signs of the wet floor or slippery conditions.
