Tripping accident at work causes dislocated shoulder injury
Our client in this work accident compensation claim suffered a dislocated shoulder when she put out her arm to try to break her fall. She was making her way towards the exit at her workplace when she turned a corner in a corridor and fell over a trolley. It had been left immediately around the corner, creating a serious unseen hazard.
Defendant admitted liability for work accident
Although the defendant, our client’s employer, admitted liability, it was necessary to issue court proceedings when their insurers refused to negotiate an acceptable settlement. However, before the trial date, our specialist work accident lawyers were able to negotiate an acceptable sum in compensation for our client’s serious injuries.
Shoulder injury following work accident
Our client had been on her way to a hairdressing appointment during her lunch hour but instead found herself in the A&E department of her local hospital. Although she had initially been examined and advised that she had probably suffered minor injury, she was later advised, following an X-Ray, that she had actually suffered a dislocated shoulder and underwent an operation to correct the damage. She suffered considerable pain during her recovery and was unable to carry out many daily household activities for some time.
