Worker wins compensation after falling down metal stairs

A woman who sustained injuries after a fall at work has been awarded damages.

She was proceeding down a set of warehouse stairs on the outside of a building when she slipped and landed heavily. The steps were previously covered in a non-slip paint, but had since been painted over.

Her fall caused soft tissue damage to her lower back, left shoulder and right hip. She also suffered electrical pains down her right leg and had to take nine days off work.

After contacting our accident at work specialists, she was awarded a compensation sum for her injuries.
