Road traffic accidents and the Law
All road traffic accident claims are judged by the standard of reasonable care. If another road user has failed to take reasonable care, which results in you suffering a personal injury, then it may be possible to proceed with a road traffic accident compensation claim.
At the scene of any accident, you should obtain the other driver’s insurance details. Nevertheless, even if you have little or no details about the driver and their insurance, it may still be possible to make a compensation claim. Our specialist lawyers will advise you and help you to make a claim.
Even if you were partially to blame for your own accident, it is still possible to pursue a successful compensation claim. For example, if a driver turns right across your path of travel, you may still be able to recover compensation, even if you were driving too fast and contributed to the accident happening.
If the driver has failed to look out for a pedestrian’s safety when he should have anticipated the pedestrian, then even if the pedestrian was crossing a road without looking properly, the pedestrian may recover a reduced amount of compensation.
If you were injured by a friend or family member in a road traffic accident, their insurers will pay your compensation claim.
Even if the other driver was uninsured or you have no details of the driver responsible for causing your accident, contact us to discuss a possible compensation claim and our specialist advisers will discuss with you how to pursue your claim.

Road traffic accident compensation
Many road traffic accident compensation claims are settled within a year with our specialist lawyers striving to gain maximum compensation in the quickest possible time.
However, if your claim is more complicated or your injuries are more serious, then a compensation claim can take slightly longer. We have a history of recovering compensation for people who have suffered debilitating injuries and securing vital payments for those involved.
