Since joining us as a newly qualified solicitor in 2010, Nicky has quickly gained a reputation both for securing a successful outcome and for her dedication to her clients' interests. As part of the Serious Injury Team, Nicky has worked with clients from all over the North East and Cumbria who have suffered personal injury through no fault of their own..
Her legal training involved a period with a North East commercial firm and a secondment in Brussels with an international law firm. During her University time, Nicky also spent a year working in Brussels at the European Parliament as an intern caseworker for a Labour MEP.
A personal injury solicitor, based in our Newcastle office, assisting Paul Brown, a senior member of the regional SIU team, Nicky has strengthened her valuable in-depth experience of dealing with serious injury compensation claims for clients who have suffered amputations, brain injury, and spinal cord injuries. Nicky is now managing her own caseload of serious injury claims and amongst her many clients, is currently representing clients who have been involved in road traffic accidents, or suffered workplace injuries such as electrocution, partial deafness and amputation.

She is heavily involved with Headway, the brain injury charity, and is the Treasurer of Headway Durham and Chester le Street. One example of her commitment is that she is being sponsored to zip-line across the Tyne in October 2011.
Nicky is also helping the North East Bulls Wheelchair Rugby Team with their application for charitable status.
