Car passenger receives road traffic accident compensation

A university student suffered serious injuries when the car in which he was a rear seat passenger crashed into a tree.

The driver's insurers admitted liability for the accident. Our specialist road accident lawyers were able to negotiate several thousand pounds in compensation for his injuries and the trauma of the accident.

Driver lost control of his car

Our client was a rear seat passenger when the driver lost control of the car. As the vehicle spun backwards out of control, it collided with a tree where it came to rest.

Our client suffered general bruising and lacerations causing permanent scarring on both legs, a head injury causing concussion, but also a more serious injury, fractures to his spine. He was also left with anxiety when travelling in cars, although this has improved significantly over time.

He had to undergo several scans, x-rays and physiotherapy sessions during his treatment.

Loss of earnings and study time

Our client was unable to return to his studies, missing several weeks of vital study time. He had also intended to work between terms to supplement his income but was unable to do so.
