Cyclist knocked off his bike in hit and run accident

Cycling to work one morning, our client was approached from behind by a car. The driver was sounding his horn and he then drove alongside our client. Without warning the driver deliberately drove into him, knocking him off his bike, and driving off.

The police attended the scene of the accident and were later able to trace the driver, who they prosecuted. Our client asked for our help in bringing a claim against the defendant in compensation for his injuries. Our specialist road accident lawyers were able to secure several thousand pounds in cycling compensation.

Head injury following cycling accident

Our client was taken to hospital in an ambulance. His injuries included a large cut to his head which required stiches, pain to his collar bone with bruising, bruising to his torso and his lower back. He continues to suffer anxiety attacks and flashbacks from the accident which have disrupted his sleeping.

For some time he was unable to bend due to the bruising on his back and suffered pain at the site of each of his injuries.
