Man receives compensation for head injuries

A liability goose chase while victim endures months of post-concussion symptoms

A man, who was injured while leaving his place of work, has secured compensation with help from our specialist personal injury lawyers.

Our client suffered a blow to his head as a large metal door fixing came loose and fell on him as he tried to exit the building that he worked in.

The door was located in a communal area of a shared building and was not directly part of his employer's premises. Consequently, liability rested with the company responsible for the safe maintenance of the communal areas, and it was only after considerable lengths had been taken by our lawyers to pin down the liable party that our client's compensation claim was able to proceed.

Our client suffered six months of symptoms which were caused by post-concussion syndrome.

Once liability was accepted by the appropriate party, our specialist lawyers were able to recover full compensation.
