Man secures compensation after hit from behind by a van

A man has secured compensation after a van went into the back of his car.

The man was stationary in his car at a set of traffic lights when the van behind failed to stop in time and hit his vehicle from behind, which jolted him forward.

He sustained injuries to his neck, shoulders and lower back. He also experienced spasms in his shoulder as well as a numb and heavy sensation in his right arm. After the accident, he needed eight session of physiotherapy and had three days off work.
