Shopper compensated after slip in supermarket

A shopper, who was injured during a routine visit to an Asda supermarket, has been awarded compensation after she contacted our specialist personal injury lawyers to pursue a claim of compensation on her behalf.

While pushing her trolley, our client slipped on piece of banana that had been left in the aisle causing her to fall and hit the floor. After leaving the supermarket, she visited her GP who diagnosed her with soft tissue damage to both of her wrists, bruised elbows and a sprained right knee.

The supermarket admitted liability for failing its health and safety obligations to our client by not ensuring that the environment was safe for shoppers.

Thanks to the work of our specialist personal injury lawyers she was awarded compensation for the injuries she sustained.
