Warehouse worker compensated after injury at work

A warehouse worker has successfully pursued a personal injury compensation claim after he was injured in an accident at work.

Our client was working in the packing department of a warehouse when a colleague pushed a heavy trolley into his right ankle.

He suffered a severe sprain and was taken to hospital. He needed five days off work and suffered ongoing symptoms as a result of the injury for six weeks after the accident.

Following the accident, the man contacted our specialist personal injury solicitors who investigated a compensation claim on his behalf. His employer admitted vicarious liability for the other employee's failure to follow a safe system of work, and compensation was secured for our client.
